The Story;
A sometimes sweet story set in Tokyo about a young lady who meets a young man who is hopelessly in debt from gambling. They meet in the Asakusa district and go to a theater. The young lady Noriko, played by the pretty Aoi Miyazaki, is looking for the man who performed at the theater with her mother decades before. So, the story spends a significant time in flashback. The young guy Kenichi, having not much else to do except dodge loan shark types, agrees to help her. There is also a parallel story about a "Moses" type figure, as well as a report of a typhoon coming. Somehow, this all meshes together. The two main characters are likable and Tokyo is well represented in this movie.
One of my best J-Movies i think, u should watch it, i cried a little cause of the storyline is so dramatic, at first maybe you think i'ts like a romantic comedy but u will be surprise that this movie had many stories and it's all related.
